The X Bar consists of 16,747+/- deeded acres and 2,330+/- acres state, federal, and private lease for a total of 19,077+/- acres. Extensive improvements include: several dwellings, numerous barns, calving sheds, shops, and corrals. 

The K Bar Ranch is located in the Laramie Mountains nine miles northeast of Laramie, and consists of 21,545+/- deeded acres and 3,676+/- acres state lease which is used for summer grazing.
